Just Associates (JASS)

JASS’ work is shaped by an analysis of power and how its abuses drive inequality, violence, exploitation, and exclusion in women’s lives across relationships, institutions and belief systems. JASS believes that the most meaningful and lasting change in women’s lives and communities comes when women themselves have the individual and collective power to define and lead that change. JASS equips and accompanies community based women activists, organisations and networks to build the development of their strategic and organised capacity. Today, JASS operates in 22 countries across Mesoamerica, Southeast Asia, and Southern Africa. We have trained more than 3,000 activists, built eight national or regional networks, and established hubs in nine countries.
